Restore Your Smile, Restore Your Confidence
Losing teeth — whether gradually over time or all at once — affects far more than your appearance. It changes the way you eat, the way you speak, the way you laugh, and ultimately the way you feel about yourself. At Polished Smiles of Round Rock, we understand how deeply tooth loss impacts quality of life, and we are committed to helping you reclaim a smile that looks natural, feels comfortable, and lets you live fully and confidently again.
Dr. Daniel Im and Dr. Laura Maxey take a thorough, personalized approach to every denture and partial denture case — taking the time to understand your needs, your lifestyle, and your goals before crafting a restoration that fits beautifully and functions reliably. We proudly serve patients throughout Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Hutto, and the greater Austin area.

What Are Dentures & Partial Dentures?
- Full dentures replace an entire arch of missing teeth — upper, lower, or both — for patients who have lost all or nearly all of their natural teeth. They rest on the gum tissue and are crafted to fit the unique contours of your jaw, restoring both your smile and the facial support that natural teeth provide.
- Partial dentures are designed for patients who still have some healthy natural teeth remaining. A partial fills in the gaps left by one or more missing teeth, anchored discreetly to existing teeth for stability, while also preventing neighboring teeth from shifting into the empty spaces over time.

Caring for Your Dentures & Partials
- Remove and rinse after eating to clear food debris from the denture surface. Handle your denture over a folded towel or basin of water — if dropped, it can chip or crack.
- Brush your denture daily using a soft denture brush and mild denture cleanser — never regular toothpaste, which is too abrasive and can scratch the surface. Keeping the denture clean prevents the buildup of bacteria, plaque, and staining.
- Soak your denture overnight in a denture solution or plain water to keep it moist and prevent warping. Never soak a denture with metal clasps in bleach-based solutions.
- Clean your mouth thoroughly even without teeth — brush your gums, tongue, and palate daily to remove bacteria and stimulate circulation in the gum tissue.
- Never attempt to adjust your denture yourself — if your denture feels loose, uncomfortable, or ill-fitting, contact our office. Self-adjustment can damage the appliance and make proper fitting more difficult.
- Keep your regular dental appointments — even patients with full dentures benefit from periodic oral exams to check the health of gum tissue, monitor bone changes, and ensure the denture continues to fit properly over time.
